GH1131 is a high-performance iron-based superalloy that is solid-solution strengthened with tungsten, molybdenum, niobium, nitrogen and other elements. The nickel content is about 28%, but its thermal strength level is comparable to that of GH3044 alloy.
The alloy has good thermal processing plasticity and welding and cold forming process performance. The main products of the main varieties are cold-rolled sheet, hot-rolled plate, bar, flat steel and wire. It can be used to make high-temperature components of rocket engines that work at 700-1000°C for a short time and aeroengines that work at 700°C for a long time at 750°C.
