Product Description

Haynes263 material introduction

Haynes 263 alloy is an age-hardenable Ni-Co-Cr-Mo alloy designed to combine excellent age strength properties with excellent fabrication characteristics in the annealed condition. While not as strong at high temperatures as Waspaloy or R-41, it is easier to form or weld than these alloys. The c-263 alloy exhibits excellent intermediate temperature tensile ductility and is generally immune to the strain age cracking problems common to gamma-strengthened alloys.

The alloy is a candidate material for advanced ultra-supercritical units, has microstructure stability, and is an aging-strengthened cobalt-nickel-based deformed superalloy containing a relatively high amount of cobalt and various strengthening elements. Tensile strength and creep resistance, good oxidation resistance and corrosion resistance, high fatigue strength and good formability and weldability under the repeated alternating action of cold and heat. Used in turbine engine turbine disks, blades, high temperature fasteners, clamps, sealing rings and elastic elements, etc.

Haynes 263 alloy is a nickel-chromium-cobalt alloy that has undergone precipitation hardening and added molybdenum for solid solution strengthening. Alloy 263 not only has high strength and corrosion resistance, but also exhibits good formability and high temperature ductility in welded structures.

Haynes 263 Chemical Composition

Haynes 263 application areas:

The alloy is prone to internal cracking during forging, allowing heavy hammer blows. The ingot loading temperature is not higher than 700ºC, the low temperature area is preheated for 20-30 minutes, the heating temperature is 1150ºC-1180ºC, the opening forging temperature is not lower than 1050ºC, and the final forging temperature is not lower than 950ºC. 2. The average grain size of the alloy is closely related to the deformation degree and final forging temperature of the forging.

Haynes 263 alloy combines properties suitable for a variety of manufacturing applications in aerospace turbine engines and industrial turbine applications. These include low temperature burners, transition liners and some annular components

Pressure vessels, high-pressure storage tanks, high-pressure pipes, heat exchangers (chemical processing industry).

Oil and gas pipelines, heat exchanger fittings.

Sewage treatment system.

Pulp and paper industry classifiers, bleaching plants, storage and treatment systems.

Rotary shafts, press rolls, blades, impellers, etc. in high-strength and corrosion-resistant environments.

Ship or truck cargo box

Food processing equipment

Haynes263 (UNS N07263) Use: Aircraft and land-based turbine components.

Haynes 263 (UNS N07263) alloy is an age hardening Ni-Co-Cr-Mo alloy designed to combine very good age strength properties with excellent fabrication characteristics in the annealed condition. While its high temperature strength is not as high as Waspaloy or R-41, it is simpler to form or weld than these alloys. Alloy 263 exhibits excellent moderate temperature tensile ductility and generally does not suffer from the strain age cracking problems common to gamma-strengthened alloys.
