Product Description

GH170 is a Ni-Cr-Co-based solid solution strengthened deformed superalloy, and its composition is characterized by containing Co20%+Cr20% and W20%. And add a small amount of lanthanum to strengthen the grain boundaries. GH170 superalloy has high strength and creep resistance at 1000ºC, and still has good second strength at 1100ºC-1200ºC. GH170 alloy has excellent oxidation resistance and good cold forming and welding process performance. The main product is sheet metal.

GH170 superalloy has been used to make parts of aero-engine afterburner regulating plate. The performance level of this alloy is close to that of the US solid solution strengthened cobalt-based alloys HA188 and MAR-M918. Recommended for use in combustion chambers and other high-temperature components of aero-engines, and as nozzle materials for rocket engines.

GH170 superalloy precipitates μ phase after long-term aging at 900 °C and 1000 °C, which reduces the room temperature plasticity of the alloy, but it can still meet the requirements of use.

4. Application and characteristics of GH3170 (GH170):

1. Hot rolled bar 10~100mm, forged bar: 100mm~350mm, cold rolled sheet 0.05mm-4.0mm, hot rolled plate: 4mm~14mm, with 2mm-10mm, standard forging rings of each scale.
