GH4049 alloy is a Ni-Co-Cr-based precipitation hardening deformed superalloy, which is used below 950 degrees Celsius. The alloy has good oxidation resistance below 1000 degrees Celsius and high high temperature strength below 950 degrees Celsius.
GH4049 superalloy application and characteristics:
GH4049 superalloy is suitable for making gas turbine blades with a working temperature of 850-950 degrees Celsius. Compared with nickel-based alloys for similar purposes, the alloy has poor hot working plasticity, and can be improved by electroslag remelting or vacuum arc remelting.
