Product Description

Hastelloy B2 is a solid solution strengthened nickel-molybdenum alloy with remarkable resistance to reducing environments such as hydrogen chloride gas, sulfuric acid, acetic acid and phosphoric acid. Molybdenum is a major alloying element that provides significant corrosion resistance to reducing environments. This nickel steel alloy can be used in the as-welded condition because it prevents the formation of grain boundary carbide deposits in the weld heat-affected zone.

The Hastelloy B2 standard requires the following ingredient requirements:
