Product Description

K444 is a nickel-based precipitation hardening equiaxed cast superalloy with a service temperature below 900°C. (W+Mo+Co)18%, (Al+Ti+Nb+Hf)8%, Cr16% and various trace elements are added to the alloy for sufficient solid solution strengthening, precipitation strengthening and grain boundary strengthening. The content of boron element in the alloy is very high, which belongs to low-carbon and high-boron alloy, which can obviously improve the medium-temperature plasticity of the alloy, especially the creep plasticity. The alloy has good high temperature strength and hot corrosion resistance. The main products are precision casting blades.

K444 application overview and characteristics

The alloy is suitable for making high-temperature structural parts such as turbine blades of modern power generation or marine gas turbines that work below 900 °C.

The alloy has excellent hot corrosion resistance, and is obviously better than K438 and IN738 alloys widely used at home and abroad. The average corrosion rate of the alloy in 90%Na2SO4+10%NaCl mixed salt at 900ºC*300h is 0.08mg, and the average corrosion depth is 65.5, while the K438 alloy sample will be completely corroded in the same environment.
