GH4043 is a solid solution-strengthening nickel-based superalloy with basically the same properties and uses as the corresponding solid-solution-strengthening iron-based alloys and age-hardening iron-based alloys. The difference is in the base body.
The base metal of iron-based superalloy is iron (about 50% iron content) and about 10% chromium content. 23%, and the nickel content is about 7% to 40%; while the base metal of nickel-based superalloy is nickel, and the nickel content is greater than 50%.
Due to the increase in nickel content, the thermal strength of nickel-based superalloy is higher than that of iron-based superalloy. , the maximum working temperature has reached about 1050 ºC; but its machinability also deteriorates.
At the same time, because they all contain a large amount of nickel, which is not in line with the resource situation in my country, iron-based superalloys should be gradually replaced.
