GH4199 is a Ni-Cr-based precipitation hardening deformed superalloy, the operating temperature is below 950 degrees Celsius. The alloy is solid solution strengthened by adding tungsten, molybdenum and chromium elements, aluminum and titanium elements are added to form an aging strengthening phase, and boron and magnesium elements are added to purify and strengthen the grain boundaries. The alloy has higher strength, good oxidation resistance and good weldability. Alloy is one of the high temperature used in precipitation hardening type sheet.
GH4199 Applications and Features:
GH4199 is suitable for welding load-bearing components such as afterburner heat shields, adjustable nozzle heat shields, sleeves, and airborne equipment parts that work below 950 degrees Celsius. The high degree of alloying and the large deformation resistance lead to poor cold and hot working plasticity of the alloy. The cold deformation amount of the number of forgings should be controlled during processing to avoid processing cracks.
