Product Description

GH5188 solution-strengthening cobalt-based superalloy, adding 14% tungsten solid solution strengthening, makes the alloy have excellent high-temperature thermal strength, adding high content of chromium and trace lanthanum, so that the alloy has good high-temperature oxidation resistance, and has Satisfactory forming, welding and other process properties, suitable for manufacturing aero-engine parts that require high strength below 980°C and anti-oxidation below 1100°C. It can also be used on aerospace engines and space shuttles. It can produce and supply various deformed products, such as sheet, medium plate, strip, bar, forging, wire and precision casting.

1.5 GH5188 (GH188) heat treatment system Hot rolled sheet 1170~1190ºC, air cooling; cold rolled strip and plate 1165~1230ºC, rapid air cooling; bar and forging 1180ºC±10ºC, rapid air cooling.

1.6 GH5188 (GH188) Varieties, Specifications and Supply Status Supply of cold-rolled sheets with δ0.5-4mm, hot-rolled plates with δ4-14mm, cold-rolled strips with δ0.05-0.8mm, and bars of various sizes, Forgings, welding wire and precision castings. 1.8 GH5188 (GH188) application overview and special requirements This alloy is widely used in the manufacture of high temperature components of gas turbines and missiles, such as combustion chambers, tail nozzles and heat exchangers in the nuclear energy industry. High-temperature components such as aero-engine combustion chamber flame tubes and guide vanes made of this alloy in China have passed the long-term test test and have been put into production and application. In the manufacturing process of processing the alloy sheet into parts, any process (such as heat treatment, welding, etc.) should prevent carburization and copper pollution, so as not to damage the mechanical properties and corrosion resistance of the alloy.
