NIMONIC C-263 is also known as Nicrofer 5120 COTI, Haynes 263, and Nickel Base Alloy C-263.
The alloy has high yield strength and creep strength when used below 800 °C, good thermal fatigue properties, and low tendency to strain aging cracks. The alloy has good plasticity, cold and hot forming performance and welding performance, and has excellent strength in the temperature range of 540~870. Combustors, mounting edges and other load-bearing parts for aero-engines and gas turbines. Alloys have been used to make engine barrels, afterburner barrels, mounting edges, mounts, and pipe fittings.
Overview
The alloy is a Ni-Cr-Co-based precipitation hardening deformed superalloy, the long-term use temperature is below 800 degrees Celsius, and the short-term use temperature can reach 8500 degrees Celsius. The alloy has high oxidation resistance, high yield strength and creep strength, small tendency to strain aging cracks, and good thermal and thermal fatigue resistance.
