K418B is a nickel-based casting superalloy modified from K418
Compared with K418 alloy, its carbon and titanium content is lower, the room temperature plasticity and impact toughness are significantly increased, and the structure stability is better. The alloy composition is relatively simple, does not contain cobalt, and the price is relatively cheap. Gas turbine guide blades and rotor blades, as well as solid cast turbines that work below 900°C, can also be used as other large-scale castings with larger cross-sections that are used at high temperatures.
Similar grade INCO713LC (USA).
