Product Description

K424 is a nickel-based precipitation hardening type equiaxed crystal casting superalloy, the service temperature is less than 1000 ºC. The alloy is characterized by high content of aluminum and titanium and low density. The alloy has high high-temperature strength and plasticity, and good casting performance. The main products are turbine rotor blades, integral cast turbine rotors and guides, and tail jet adjusting plate base plates and other precision casting structural parts.

K424 physical properties:

Melting point: 1271ºC~1310ºC;

Density: ρ=7.87g/cm3;

Expansion coefficient: 20~800ºC: 15.0x10-6ºC-1;

Hardness at room temperature (as cast): HRC36.2

K424 mechanical properties:

20ºC: Yield strength 755Mpa, elongation 12.3%;

800ºC: Yield strength is 770Mpa, elongation rate is 8.4%.

High temperature lasting: 800ºC, 519Mpa is greater than 235h.

Main application of K424:

The alloy is used to make components such as turbine blades of aviation and aerospace engines, tail nozzle adjustment discs, integral cast turbine rotors and guides.
