GH3536 application overview and features:
GH3536 is a Ni-Cr-Fe-based solid-solution-strengthened deformed superalloy, and the corresponding grade is K4536 when used in casting. The alloy has moderate durability and creep strength below 900 °C; good oxidation resistance and corrosion resistance, good hot and cold formability and weldability. It is suitable for the manufacture of components such as aero-engine combustion chambers that are used for a long time below 900 °C, and high-temperature components that are used for a short time at a working temperature of 1080 °C.
GH3536 alloy has been widely used in foreign aero-engine and civil industries, and has been used in the manufacture of aero-engine combustion chamber components, honeycomb structures, diffusers, tail nozzles and other hot-end components in China.
The cooling rate in the quenching process of the finished alloy is one of the important factors affecting the alloy process. Rapid cooling can control the precipitation of brittle carbide films at the grain boundaries. When the alloy solution temperature is higher than 1175 ºC, it is easy to form carbide films at the grain boundaries. The alloy exhibits a certain degree of age hardening after long-term aging, which reduces the plasticity and the high temperature strength.
The main products of GH3536 are sheet, strip, pipe, bar, forging, ring and precision casting.

GH3536 Melting and Casting Process:
1. GH3536 alloy adopts non-vacuum induction furnace + electroslag remelting, or electric arc furnace ten electroslag remelting smelting process.
2. K4536 alloy uses non-vacuum induction furnace remelting mother alloy to cast precision castings and test bars.
Standard heat treatment system for GH3536 varieties:
Hot rolled and forged bars, round cakes, rings: 1175ºC±10ºC, air cooling or faster cooling, holding time ≥20min, HB≤241,
Pipe material: 1130ºC~1170ºC, fast cooling; holding time ≤30min,
Cold rolled sheet: 1130ºC~1170ºC, rapid air cooling or water cooling;
