Product Description

GH38A is a Fe-Ni-Cr-based precipitation hardening deformed superalloy, and the operating temperature is below 700ºC.

The alloy is added with elements such as aluminum and titanium to form a precipitation strengthening phase, and boron is added to purify and strengthen the grain boundaries.

The alloy has high thermal strength when used below 700ºC, as well as good cutting performance and welding performance.

The main products are hot rolled and forged bars, plates and cakes.

GH38A nitrogen alloyed stainless steel: N is added to stainless steel as an alloying element, which can improve the stability of austenite, balance the proportion of the phase in the dual-phase steel, and improve the strength and corrosion resistance of the steel without affecting the plasticity and toughness of the steel. , and can partially replace Ni in stainless steel. In dual-phase steel, N delays the dispersion and precipitation of intermetallic compounds; in martensitic steel, N and other elements form nitrides and distribute on grain boundaries, which can improve the hardening ability and prevent austenite and ferrite during high temperature tempering. Growth of bulk grains. Austenitic stainless steel with high N content developed in recent years, namely high-strength non-magnetic austenitic stainless steel, has high-temperature strength and will be widely used as low-temperature superconducting material, high corrosion resistance and non-magnetic material.

GH38A heat treatment system

The standard heat treatment system for each variety is:

Hot rolled and forged bars, 1180ºC+10ºC*2h/AC or WQ+760ºC±10ºC*(16-25)h/AC, HBS302-241;

Plate, (1020-1060)ºC/AC+720ºC±10ºC*8h/AC, the solution holding time is calculated according to (0.8-2.0)min/mm.
