GH648 is a Ni-Cr-based precipitation hardening deformed superalloy.
The long-term use temperature is less than 900 °C, and the short-term use temperature can reach 1100 °C.
The alloy is characterized by the addition of about ω (Cr) 32%, which makes it have excellent hot corrosion resistance.
At the same time, GH648 alloy has moderate strength and good fatigue and creep properties, good cold workability and weldability.
GH648 is suitable for making high-temperature structural parts with a temperature of 900ºC~1100ºC and requiring the best performance.
The main varieties supplied are plates, strips, pipes, bars, forgings and rings.
GH648 use: GH648 alloy is used to make high-end aero-engine combustion chamber parts and other hot-end parts, and it is in good batch production and use. Similar grades have been widely used in foreign aero-engines. The comprehensive performance of GH648 alloy is better than the domestic performance level of GH3044 and GH3128. Since GH4648 has a smaller specific gravity than GH3044, this alloy has a higher specific strength.
