GH1015
1. Introduction of GH1015:
GH1015 is a FE-NI-CR-based solid solution strengthening deformed superalloy. The operating temperature is below 950 degrees. The alloy is solid solution strengthened by adding elements such as chromium, tungsten and molybdenum. The alloy has high plasticity and moderate durability and creep strength, good thermal and cold fatigue resistance, as well as good processing and welding properties and microstructure stability.
The main products are cold-rolled sheet, wire and forgings.
2. GH1015 application and features:
The GH1015 alloy has been used in the manufacture of sheet structural steel and other high temperature components such as aero-engine combustion chambers and afterburners.
When the alloy works for a long time at 700 degrees to 900 degrees, there is a certain ageing hardening phenomenon, which reduces the room temperature plasticity. When the alloy works for a long time above 700 degrees, it has a tendency to oxidize along the grain boundary. Enamel coating can be used for effective protection. The oxidation resistance at high temperature above 1000 degrees is slightly worse than that of nickel-based alloys for similar purposes.
