Overview of Hastelloy C-276 features and application areas:
The alloy has excellent corrosion resistance to most corrosive media under oxidation and reduction conditions. Excellent resistance to pitting corrosion, crevice corrosion and stress corrosion cracking. The alloy is suitable for various chemical process industries containing oxidizing and reducing media. The higher content of molybdenum and chromium makes the alloy resistant to corrosion by chloride ions, and the element tungsten further improves its corrosion resistance. Hastelloy C-276 is one of the only materials that can resist the corrosion of moist chlorine gas, hypochlorite and chlorine dioxide solution. The alloy has significant corrosion resistance to high-concentration chloride salt solutions (such as chlorination). Iron and copper chloride).

Hastelloy C-276 process performance and requirements:
1. The lower the sulfur content in thermal processing fuels, the better. The sulfur content in natural gas should be less than 0.1%, and the sulfur content in heavy oil should be less than 0.5%.
2. The hot working temperature of the alloy ranges from 1200°C to 950°C, and the cooling method is water cooling or rapid air cooling.
3. It is suitable for welding with any traditional welding process, such as tungsten electrode inert gas shielded welding, plasma arc welding, manual sub-arc welding, metal inert gas shielded welding, and molten inert gas shielded welding.
The welding materials are ERNiCrMo-4 welding wire and ENiCrMo-4 welding rod
