Metallographic structure:
The alloy has a face-centered cubic lattice structure with good crystal phase stability. It has excellent high temperature strength through solution hardening, and the alloy is not age hardened.
Process performance and requirements:
1. The suitable hot working temperature of the alloy is 1200-950ºC. The cooling method can be water quenching or other rapid cooling methods. The material must be put into the furnace when the heating furnace reaches the highest furnace temperature.
2. The average grain size of the alloy is closely related to the deformation degree and final forging temperature of the forging.
3. Oxides near alloy welds are more difficult to remove than stainless steel. Either mechanical or chemical methods can be used, with mechanical methods avoiding metal contamination and high surface deformation. Before pickling in a mixed acid of nitric acid and hydrofluoric garlic, it is also necessary to remove oxides with sandpaper or pre-treat it with a salt bath.
4. The alloy is very suitable for welding, including tungsten electrode arc welding (GTAW/TIG), manual arc welding (GMAW/MIG), pulse arc welding and shielded gas arc welding.
