GH35A deformed superalloy

Application overview and characteristics of GH35A:

GH35A is a Fe-Ni-Cr-based precipitation hardening deformed superalloy, and the operating temperature is below 750ºC.

The alloy is developed on the basis of GH2035 alloy by adjusting the content of carbon, boron, aluminum and titanium, and changing the heat treatment system.

In addition to the advantages of the original alloy, the alloy also has higher strength, better microstructure stability and good hot workability.

The main products of GH35A are hot rolled and forged bars, forgings and rings.

GH35A alloy has been used to manufacture more than ten kinds of components such as turbine inner and outer rings and support rings of various aero-engines, and has been put into mass production.

GH35A alloy precipitates after long-term aging. Phase, but the growth rate is very slow, and no longer grows when it grows to a certain length. Precipitated when aged at 700ºCx10000h and 750ºCx4000h. The phase sizes are all below 20 μm, which has little effect on the properties of the alloy.

Adopt electric arc furnace + electroslag remelting, or non-vacuum induction furnace + electroslag remelting, or vacuum induction furnace + electroslag remelting smelting process.

Heat treatment system of GH35A:

The standard heat treatment system for hot rolled and forged bars and forgings is: 1080ºCx2h/WQ+680ºCx16h/AC.
