Overview

K491 alloy is a low-carbon and high-boron casting superalloy developed on the basis of American B1914 alloy and using special low segregation technology.

It has good structure stability and good casting process performance, suitable for making turbocharger blades and other high temperature parts below 850 degrees.

1.5 Heat treatment system Slowly heat to 1080 degrees, heat preservation for 4 hours, air cooling +900 degrees, heat preservation for 10 hours and air cooling.

1.6 Varieties, specifications and supply status Round rod ingots with a diameter of 70-90mm are supplied as-cast.

1.7 Melting and casting process The master alloy is smelted in the vacuum induction furnace, and the investment casting parts and samples are remelted and poured in the vacuum induction furnace.
