NS315 alloy is mainly a new-generation PWR steam generator heat transfer tube material.
Its nickel-based alloy contains 27.0~31.0% of chromium and about 59% of nickel.
The nickel-based alloy has excellent resistance to intergranularity. Corrosion and resistance to intergranular stress corrosion cracking.
Materials for heat transfer tubes of steam generators in pressurized water reactor power plants have gone through a development process, including 304 austenitic stainless steel, 600 alloy, 800 alloy and 690 alloy.
The corrosion failure study of 600 alloy in service shows that intergranular corrosion and intergranular stress corrosion cracking are the main problems.
The alloy is used as the heat transfer tube material of the steam generator of the pressurized water reactor power station, and no damage has been found since it was put into use in the 1990s. report, the effect is very good.

NS315 application areas:
Mainly used for heat transfer tube material of steam generator in pressurized water reactor power station, which is the technology of steam generator.
At present, among the pressurized water reactor units in operation in my country, only Qinshan Phase I uses 800 alloy, and Qinshan Phase II, Daya Bay and Ling'ao nuclear power plants all use 690 alloy as the steam generator heat transfer tube material.
