Haynes HR-120 is a high-temperature alloy in the Haynes alloy series, and it is also one of the solid-solution-strengthened heat-resistant alloys.
The corresponding American standard trademark of Haynes HR-120 is UNS N08120.
This type of alloy has both high high temperature strength and good resistance to penetration and vulcanization. It is also worth noting that the oxidation resistance of this alloy is excellent, comparable to any of the Fe-Ni-Cr alloys used, such as the 800 series stainless steel, 800H and 800HT. Even compared with the Ni-Cr alloy, its strength at 1095°C is remarkably high. Haynes HR-120 alloy can be formed by cold and hot forming. When welding, HastelloyX or Haynes 556 is selected as welding material according to functional requirements.
