Product Description

Heat-resistant steel alloy INCOLOY 800 is a steel alloy with a specific heat capacity of 455J/(kg·ºC) and a density of 8.0g/cm3.

The Cr content in Incoloy 800 800 alloy is usually 15-25%, the nickel content is 30-45%, and contains small amounts of aluminum and titanium. The 800 alloy is in the austenite single-item region after rapid cooling from high temperature, so the use state is a single austenite structure. The alloy has high chromium content and sufficient nickel content, so it has high high temperature corrosion resistance and is widely used in industry. In chloride, low-concentration NaOH aqueous solution and high-temperature and high-pressure water, it has excellent resistance to stress corrosion cracking, so the equipment used to manufacture stress corrosion cracking resistance Incoloy800 is similar to 0Cr20Ni32AlTi United States: No8800 Japan: NCF800 West Germany: X2NiCrAlTi3220 Incoloy800 application Field Chemical industry nuclear generator nitric acid cooler, acetic anhydride cracking tube heat exchange equipment, heat exchange tube Incoloy800 varieties and specifications of plates, strips, pipes, forgings Negotiated supply of Incoloy800 standard ASTMB409....Stainless steel hot-rolled steel plate ASTMB514...Stainless steel cold-rolled Steel plate ASTMB515…Stainless steel/acid-resistant steel Cold-rolled steel strip Incoloy800 hot-rolled or cold-rolled in supply state, heat treated, oxidized or pickled Incoloy800 corrosion resistance Corrosion resistance is better than general austenitic stainless steel, and also better than Incolo600 alloy ; It is superior to Incolo600 and Monel400 alloys in the manufacture of corrosion-resistant stress cracking equipment.

Incoloy800 processing Hot working

1. The temperature range is 1200ºC~950ºC.

2. In order to obtain the best performance and creep resistance, solution treatment should be carried out after hot working.

3. The material can be directly sent into the furnace that has been heated up to 1200ºC, and the furnace can be released quickly after the heat preservation time is sufficient, and the hot processing is carried out in the specified temperature range. When the material temperature drops below the thermal processing temperature, reheating is required.

Cold working

1. The work hardening rate is greater than that of austenitic stainless steel, so it is necessary to select the processing equipment. Cold-worked materials should be in solution heat-treated state, and intermediate annealing should be performed when the amount of cold work is large.

2. If the amount of cold working is greater than 10%, the workpiece needs to be subjected to secondary solution treatment. The Incoloy800 welding process is suitable for welding with the same material or other metals by any traditional welding process, such as tungsten electrode inert gas welding, plasma arc welding, manual sub-arc welding, metal inert gas shielded welding, molten inert gas shielded welding, among which Pulse arc welding is the preferred solution. If manual arc welding is used, it is recommended to use (Ar+He+H2+CO2) as the shielding gas.
