GH4099 (GH99) is a highly alloyed nickel-based ageing sheet alloy, which is comprehensively strengthened with cobalt, tungsten, aluminum, titanium and other elements, so that the alloy has high thermal strength, can be used for a long time below 900 ºC, and the highest working The temperature can reach 1000ºC.

The alloy is stable in structure and has satisfactory cold and hot forming and welding performance. It is suitable for the manufacture of high-temperature plate bearing welded structural parts such as aero-engine combustion chambers and afterburners. Large-scale plate structural parts made of this alloy can be It is used directly without aging treatment after solution treatment. The main products are plate and wire, but also plate and forging can be produced.

Process requirements

3.1. Formability

3.1.1. The alloy forging furnace temperature is ≤700ºC, the heating temperature is 1120~1160ºC, the opening forging temperature is not less than 1050ºC, and the final forging temperature is not less than 980ºC. The heating temperature of slab hot rolling is 1110~1150ºC, and the final rolling temperature is not lower than 850ºC. The heating temperature of sheet blank rolling is 1130~1150ºC, and the heating temperature of finishing rolling is 1110~1130ºC.

3.1.2. The ultimate deep-drawing coefficient of the alloy is 2.08, the ultimate tumbling coefficient is 1.64, the minimum radius is less than 0.77δ, and the ultimate thinning rate is 71.7%

3.1.3. When the cold deformation is 30%, the initial recrystallization temperature of the plate is 900ºC, and the complete recrystallization temperature is 1080ºC.

3.2, welding performance

The alloy has satisfactory welding performance, and the cross tower welding crack tendency is less than 15%. It can be combined with manual argon arc welding, automatic tungsten argon arc welding, seam welding and spot welding. Pickling the surface to be soldered with rare resistance. The alloy can be used for argon arc welding and seam welding with GH3030, GH3044, GH3128 and other high temperature alloys.

3.3. Surface heat treatment

3.3.1. Before and after heat treatment of parts, the surface oil and other dirt should be cleaned to avoid local corrosion on the surface during heat treatment.

3.3.2. The oxide skin of the parts after heat treatment can be cleaned by sand blasting or pickling solution containing hydrofluoric acid. Parts must be cleaned with a pickling solution containing hydrofluoric acid prior to resistance welding.
